Meet the Team.

Our Trustees.

So what do our Trustees actually do!

Our Trustees have lots of duties, for example, they ensure the charity carries out its purposes for public benefit, comply with the law and governing documents, act in the charity’s best interests, manage its resources responsibly, act with reasonable care and skill, and ensure the charity is accountable for the work they undertake.

These duties form the foundation of a Trustee’s legal and ethical obligations to Together for Thanet. Our Trustees meet regulary to set the vision and undertake these tasks.

We choose our Trustees because we know that they act with integrity and good faith, using their skills and experience to make decisions that are in the best interest of Together for Thanet.

Our Volunteers.

Our volunteers donate their time and skills to support Together for Thanet without pay, doing tasks like fundraising, offering administrative support, organising activities and campaigning.

Their work includes hands-on roles like helping out with events and arranging activities, as well as professional or administrative tasks, all with the goal of making a positive impact on the local communities, families and individuals.

Our volunteers contribute to a positive change in our local communities through direct services and support. They help expand our capacity, allowing more people to access services that might otherwise be unavailable.

Volunteering fosters social connections and helps to combat isolation. Our volunteers provide opportunities to learn new skills, gain experience, and even discover new passions.

So, if you are interested in volunteering, then get in touch, we’d love to hear from you. If you need more information then please call /message us on 07738593623 or Email: togetherforthanet@outlook.com.
